Obtaining ISC2 CGRC Accreditation

We are delighted to announce that our Director, Simon, has recently obtained the ISC2 Certificate in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC)!!

What is the CGRC?

The CGRC is a certification that demonstrates the knowledge and skills to assist with the integration of governance, risk management and compliance based activities within an organisation.

The CGRC is spread across 7 domains, covering the entire risk management lifecycle including scoping of a system, selection of suitable security frameworks and controls, the implementation and auditing of the selected controls and the ongoing maintenance of controls.

Accreditation is only validated through two key methods, a 3 hour exam to assess knowledge across all 7 domains and evidence of at least 2 years working within an information security related function that covers at least one of the domains.
